IDP streaming is essential for staying competitive in your leagues. Streaming involves analyzing weekly matchups and playing different players with the best potential outcomes each week. This edition will examine the top IDP streaming IDL and EDGE options.
Arden Key was the key to success for Week 9, and Jer'Zhan Newton was a great sleeper, but the other calls were missed. Here are the top IDP streaming options for Week 10.
IDP Streaming Option: IDL Alim McNeill, Detroit Lions
Matchup: Houston Texans - Ranked 8th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
McNeill is not off to the start that IDP enthusiasts had hoped for. He has just 12 tackles and two-and-a-half sacks in eight games. The stats do not tell the entire story. McNeill has still been running a muck in opposing backfields. He has 27 pressures, including three games with at least six, which is on pace to break his career-high set just last year. He had seven against the Packers last week. Watch how quickly he gets into the backfield with a nice swim move:
iDL that can get home in 2.2 seconds WILL get paid in this league. That's how it works.

Alim McNeil 7 QB Pressures yesterday. Showing why he got that big deal... Uses those hands beautifully vs RG pic.twitter.com/LzaC7mTlcn
McNeill has a great opportunity to add to the sack column in Week 10. The Lions play the Texans, a team whose offensive line has been playing poorly recently. They have allowed 31 sacks on the season, bad enough for a tie for second-worst. Houston just allowed eight sacks to the Jets in Week 9. The Lions just added Za'Darius Smith at the deadline to bolster their edge rush. This should help McNeill climb the pocket, making him a great IDP streaming option for Week 10.
IDP Streaming Option: IDL Zach Allen, Denver Broncos
Matchup: Kansas City Chiefs - Ranked 3rd in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
This seems like a poor decision, with the Chiefs's offensive line playing so well. They showed a few holes, though, in Week 9. The Buccaneers exposed the interior offensive line of the Chiefs, forcing four sacks between Vita Vea and Calijah Kancey. Allen is off to a hot start to 2024 with 35 tackles and four sacks through nine games.
It is incredibly difficult to take down Patrick Mahomes II, but the Buccaneers showed how you can do it. Even if Allen does not get to Mahomes, his run defense is superb. Kareem Hunt did not show much wiggle until the fourth quarter. Huint's lack of elusiveness allows Allen a solid tackle floor, making him an IDP streaming option for Week 10.

IDP Streaming Option: EDGE Tuli Tuipulotu, Los Angeles Chargers
Matchup: Tennessee Titans - Ranked 27th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Tuipiulotu has been a revelation for the Chargers. Joey Bosa has, almost predictably, been injured throughout the season. Bosa has only played on 27 snaps or more once this season. Tuipulotu has done that in every single game. He has also been on fire recently with six tackles, three-and-a-half sacks, and a pass defended over his past two games.
#Chargers EDGE Tuli Tuipulotu has turned on the pass rush juice over the last two weeks. He has racked up 7 total pressures and 4 sacks (PFF doesn't split) and increased his win % from 9.2 in weeks 1-7 to 16.2%. pic.twitter.com/ZvKc3isiFe

The Chargers take on the Titans in Week 10. The Titans offensive line has been playing better. They sit in the middle of the pack with 21 sacks allowed. Still, I like Tuipulotu's chances, squaring off against Mason Rudolph or Will Levis.
IDP Streaming Option: EDGE Charles Harris - Carolina Panthers
Matchup: New York Giants - Ranked 31st in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Harris has truly stepped up for the Panthers, who desperately needed pass-rushing help. He has 15 tackles and three sacks over the past five games. That includes a six-tackle and sack performance against the Saints last week. The Panthers seemed to play like a unit in Week 9's win over the Saints and we could see a trend of players using this opportunity as an audition for next year.
The Panthers taking on the Giants is a no-brainer matchup to attack. The Panthers defensive line is likely all on waivers, not counting A'Shawn Robinson in DT-required leagues. I would play Harris as a solid EDGE2/3 for Week 10.
IDP Sleeper Option: IDL A'Shawn Robinson, Carolina Panthers
Matchup: New York Giants - Ranked 31st in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
This is more of a floor play than sack upside, even though the matchup provides it. Robinson has been a terrific run defender for the Panthers, one of the lone bright spots this season. He has four tackles or more in six of his eight games. He has shown added pass-rushing upside this year. Robinson has 13 pressures, the most he's had in an entire season since 2021.
The Giants offensive line has been atrocious. They have allowed 28 sacks on the season, the sixth-most in the NFL. On average, the Giants run the ball just over 26 times per game. Robinson has a high-tackle floor opportunity and some pass-rush upside. He is a solid Week 10 IDP streaming option.
IDP Sleeper Option: EDGE Za'Darius Smith, Detroit Lions
Matchup: Houston Texans - Ranked 8th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Smith is a tough sell for Week 10, considering he was traded to the Lions a few days ago. He is a savvy veteran, though. Smith has already played for two other NFC North teams, the Vikings and Packers, and he understands how they play. Smith has not shown much slowing down either, with 23 tackles and five sacks on the season.
They play the Texans in Week 10, and they have allowed 31 sacks on the season. That is bad enough for a tie for the second-most in the NFL. Even if Smith is on a snap count, I would not bet against him getting to C.J. Stroud. If this weren't his first week with the team, he would be an IDP streaming option. For now, he is a sleeper, barring he plays.
Final Thoughts
We are in the second half of the season, so it is time to get aggressive. Five out of the six IDP streaming options in this week's article are for pass-rushing upside. It is time to look for the big plays, the game-winners. I appreciate you reading my articles, and good luck in Week 10.
