IDP streaming is essential for staying competitive in your leagues. Streaming involves analyzing weekly matchups and playing different players with the best potential outcomes each week. In this edition, we will examine the top IDP streaming IDL and Edge options.
Our Week 7 steaming IDL was a 50/50 split. Grady Jarrett finished with five tackles, with one going for a loss, which was a hit. B.J. Hill was a miss, accruing just a single tackle and a pass defended. The Edge streamers were better. Jared Verse had four tackles, with one going for a loss. Sam Hubbard had a blowup game with three tackles, one for a loss, a sack, a pass defended, an interception, and a forced fumble. Here are the top IDP streaming IDL and Edge matchups for Week 8.
IDP Streaming IDL Nnamdi Madubuike, Baltimore Ravens
Matchup: Cleveland Browns - Ranked 14th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Who would have thought that at this point of the 2024 season, Madubuike would be riding the bench? Madubuike finished 2023 with a career year, dropping 56 tackles and 13 sacks, both career-highs. He has followed that up with 2023, looking like a fluke. Through the first seven games, Madubuike has just 13 tackles and two sacks.
Madubuike has been providing pressure, accruing 23 in the first seven games, but he has not been finishing. What better matchup to have a big game from a pass rusher than against the Browns? The Browns have allowed 35 sacks on the season, ten more than any other team. Madubuike should be in all of your lineups as a top-tier IDP Streamer.
IDP Streaming IDL Grady Jarrett, Atlanta Falcons
Matchup: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Ranked 13th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
This is the second consecutive week that we are streaming Jarrett. He played fantastic last week as one of the top-graded defensive tackles in the NFL.

1. Keenu Benton (90.2)
2. Grady Jarrett (89.1)
3. Calais Campbell (86.0)
4. Thomas Booker IV (85.9)
5. Ed Oliver (85.3)

Jarrett has been playing fast this season and has routinely found his way into opposing backfields.
The Falcons take on the Buccaneers in Week 8. The Buccaneers are tied for the fifth-most sacks allowed, with 20. They also went from one of the best receiver corps to one of the worst in a week, losing Chris Godwin and Mike Evans to injury. This could result in Baker Mayfield holding the ball longer than he wants to, making Jarrett an excellent IDP streaming choice for Week 8.

IDP Streaming EDGE Odafe Oweh, Cleveland Browns
Matchup: Cleveland Browns - Ranked 14th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Oweh is in the middle of the best pass-rushing season of his young career. He is just a half-sack short of his career-high just seven games into the season. Oweh has played 60% of the Ravens' defensive snaps, showing an excellent snap share.
Oweh is coming off a four-tackle and two-sack game and is looking to bring that momentum into a matchup with the Browns. As mentioned earlier, the Browns' pass protection has been abysmal this season. Oweh is a terrific IDP streaming option.
IDP Streaming EDGE George Karlaftis, Kansas City Chiefs
Matchup: Las Vegas Raiders - Ranked 23rd in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Karlaftis has not lived up to his lofty hype set before the 2024 season. His 2023 season concluded with 47 tackles and 10.5 sacks, cementing his status as a legitimate Edge1. His 14 tackles and one-and-a-half sacks on the season are less than inspiring. Karlaftis is coming off his best game of the season, producing three tackles and a sack. He also disrupted this red zone play, forcing a turnover:
McKivitz is catching a lot of heat for this but this is a damn good rep from George Karlaftis

Not sure if the inside-spin move was predetermined or a counter on the fly, but the execution is flawless after getting this much depth on the stem of his rush

He has a tremendous opportunity to stay hot against the Raiders. The Raiders have allowed 20 sacks on the season, tied for fifth-worst. Karlaftis may be starting to turn the season around in what should be a dominant defensive performance by the Chiefs in Week 8.
IDP Sleeper IDL Larry Ogunjobi, Pittsburgh Steelers
Matchup: New York Giants - Ranked 31st in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Ogunjobi is quietly having a solid IDL2 season. He has played on at least 50% of the team's defensive snaps in five of their seven games. Ogunjobi has been disruptive, with 19 tackles, one-and-a-half sacks, and ten pressures.
The Steelers take on the Giants in Week 8. The Giants' offensive line is starting to look like the line from last year: porous. Starting tackle Andrew Thomas was just placed on IR, making things worse. The Steelers defensive line should dominate in Week 8, making Ogunjobi a sneaky IDP streaming option.
IDP Sleeper Option: EDGE Haason Reddick, New York Jets
Matchup: New England Patriots - Ranked 32 in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
This comes with a caveat of Reddick's Week 8 availability. He will likely be on a snap count due to his missed time. Even so, Reddick instantly makes this defense better. A defense that has been struggling mightily. Reddick is coming off four consecutive seasons of 11.5 sacks or more.
The Jets will face the Patriots in Week 8. The Patriots have allowed 25 sacks, the second-most in the NFL. Outside of Will McDonald IV, the Jets have struggled to provide pressure. Reddick improves this defense's overall composition by adding pressure on both edges. If Reddick plays, starting him as an IDP streaming option is wise.
Final Thoughts
Without any byes in Week 8, we put some more prominent names in our IDP streaming article. These are players who are cusp starters but have tremendous matchups. With almost half of the season gone, we have seen plenty of injuries. Hopefully, this will help you make your decisions for Week 8. Thank you for reading, and good luck.
