The IDP streaming matchups for Week 4 were a 50/50 split. We hit on Calais Campbell and Leonard Floyd but missed on Jordan Davis and Derek Barnett. We did see some matchups that should be exploited weekly, though. The Patriots saw their second consecutive week of allowing at least six sacks. The Cleveland Browns continue to be a source of opposing defensive line production, leading the league in sacks allowed. Here are the IDP streaming matchups for IDL and Edge for Week 5.
IDL and Edge Streaming Options
IDP Streaming Option: IDL Emmanuel Ogbah, Miami Dolphins
Matchup: New England Patriots - Ranked 23rd in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Ogbah has been a steady producer for his entire career. He has at least 5.5 sacks in six of his nine seasons in the NFL. The Dolphins are missing Bradley Chubb, and Jaelan Phillips is fresh off an Achilles injury. Christian Wilkins also left in free agency. The Dolphins needed extra pass-rush help. Ogbah has been solid this season with 14 total tackles, a sack, an interception, and six pressures.
The Dolphins play the Patriots, who have allowed 13 sacks over the past two weeks. Without anything changing in New England, the Dolphins should be able to overwhelm the Patriots' offensive line, making Ogbah a solid IDP streaming option.
IDP Streaming Option: IDL Daron Payne, Washington Commanders
Matchup: Cleveland Browns - Ranked 21st in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Payne is having a horrendous season in comparison to what we are used to. He only has four total tackles and half of a sack over the first four games of the season. It is not for the lack of pressure, though. He has 11 in those four games. Payne is also coming off a game with his first-half sack of the season. Check out the nice swim move:

Bobby Wagner collapses the front of the pocket and Daron Payne is there at the edge, too.

What better get-right game than against the Browns to make Payne an IDP streaming option? The Browns have allowed a league-most 19 sacks over the first four games of the season. Payne should have no problem hitting home against this Swiss cheese line. He is a surefire IDP streaming option for Week 5.

IDP Streaming Option: EDGE Nik Bonitto, Denver Broncos
Matchup: Oakland Raiders - Ranked 27th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Bonitto is hot right now. Baron Browning has been on IR, and Bonitto has filled that void admirably. He is currently on a two-game sack streak, during which he has added five tackles and a pass defense. Bonitto has also managed seven pressures during that span.
The Raiders are now facing adversity with Davante Adams asking out of Las Vegas. There are not many offensive weapons left on the Raiders squad. This will lead to Minshew or O'Connel, whoever plays, to hold the ball longer while their receivers have trouble getting open. The Raiders have also allowed the sixth most sacks on the season with 14. Bonitto is a top-tier IDP streaming option.
IDP Streaming Option: EDGE Dayo Odeyingbo, Indianapolis Colts
Matchup: Jacksonville Jaguars - Ranked 18th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Let's try this again. I had Odeyingbo as a streaming option for Week 3, but he compiled just one assisted tackle. The matchup was good, and he saw a then-season-high 69% snap share; he just did not convert. The following week, Odeyingbo accrued three tackles and one-and-a-half sacks. I picked the wrong week, I guess. We are going with him again. Tyquan Lewis was sent to IR, and Kwity Paye is a bit banged up.
Odeyingbo also set a season-high in snap percentage in Week 4 with 74%. They take on the Jaguars in Week 4, which has allowed 13 sacks in the season. The Jaguars may take more of a running approach after Tank Bigsby's recent play (read more here), but that does not take away from the fact that Odeyingbo is a solid IDP streaming option for Week 5.
IDL and Edge Sleeper Options
IDP Sleeper Option: IDL David Onyemata, Atlanta Falcons
Matchup: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Ranked 12th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Onyemata is an aging veteran, but he is still a staple on the Falcons' defensive line. He has teamed up with Grady Jarrett and does not leave the field often, owning a 63% snap share. Onyemata has yet to come away with a sack in 2024, though he created three pressures in Week 4. He also had his best grade of the season at 88.4 defensive grade and an 83.7 pass-rushing grade per PFF.
This week, the Falcons play the Buccaneers, who have allowed the fifth most sacks in the season at 15. With Onyemata's volume and the sacks allowed by the Buccaneers, Onyemata has a great chance to record his first sack of the season. Because of this, he is an intriguing IDP streaming option.
IDP Sleeper Option: EDGE Jamin Davis, Washington Commanders
Matchup: Cleveland Browns - Ranked 21st in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Davis is a linebacker who converted to Edge defender this season. We have seen where there are definitely some growing pains with players who have done this before. Take Zaven Collins, for example. He is finally excelling in his third year in a converted role. Davis has already seen his usage at the position grow from 20% snap share in Week 1 to 24% in Week 3 to 32% in Week 4. He is effective in run defense off the edge, with three tackles in each game.
Playing the Browns should give Davis a great opportunity to get his first sack of the season. Even if this does not happen, Davis provides a solid tackle floor, making him a sleep IDP streaming option.
Final Thoughts
With four teams on a bye in Week 5, you may be looking for other options to fill your lineups. Maybe you just got hit with suspensions and injuries looming around the league. Either way, these options deserve consideration for streaming for Week 5. Thank you for reading, and good luck!
