Jalen Coker (WR-CAR) - Forget about the undrafted free agent status. Coker is the best downfield target the Panthers have at wide receiver. For whatever reason, they did not give him starter snaps last week, but that should change now that Jonathan Mingo was traded. You can still get in on the ground floor of this possible future #1 receiver, and the Panthers are on track to draft a better long term quarterback for him next year.
Jaylen Warren (RB-PIT) - This is the corresponding take to last week's Najee Harris sell high take. Warren is the passing down back and should lead the backfield in snaps in the second half of the season against a much tougher second-half schedule. He’s healthy and well-rested, and we know how much Russell Wilson likes throwing to running backs.
Jordan Mason (RB-SF) - Mason is healthy after the bye and ready to resume the starter role if necessary. We won’t know for sure that Christian McCaffrey can handle anything near his normal workload until we see him do it, and even then, we don’t know how his Achilles will respond to that workload. Mason should be added if he was dropped and now’s your chance to get him cheap if you are going to count on McCaffrey.
Jauan Jennings (WR-SF) - The fantasy community might be underestimating Jennings' potential. He has only played one game as the starter this year and posted 11-173-3, the best line of any wide receiver in any game this season. Brandon Aiyuk is out for the year, and it’s clear that Jennings has Brock Purdy’s trust as a contested-catch receiver downfield. It’s also possible that he holds off Ricky Pearsall to remain a starter if Deebo Samuel Sr. is traded in the offseason.
Tank Bigsby (RB-JAX) - The writing is on the wall that Travis Etienne Jr. probably won’t be the Jaguars starting running back beyond next year, and maybe not even next year. The Jaguars should have a new regime that will have open competition, and Bigsby has clearly been a better runner than Etienne this year by any measure. Bigsby’s price should remain low as the Jaguars offense languishes with or without an injured Trevor Lawrence, so this could be an easier move to pursue in dynasty leagues in the offseason.
Ladd McConkey (WR-LAC) - Justin Herbert is reminding us that yes, he is indeed one of the league's best young passers, and no, Greg Roman isn’t going to keep that from shining or even being the centerpiece of the offense. McConkey is just getting started as Herbert’s favorite receiver. The Chargers haven’t had anything remotely resembling a shootout game script, and McConkey has already had a game with over 100 yards and a score. He could easily end up being one of the more valuable wide receivers of the second half of the season.
Drake Maye (QB-NE) - Watching Maye make plays as a passer and runner outside of structure is exciting because, frankly, the Patriots don’t have the players yet to give him advantages inside of structure. That will come in time, but Maye’s ability to post numbers as a scrambler puts him on a par with quarterbacks who get a lot of runs by design. The foundation for Maye’s future fantasy value is strong enough to support a profile like Josh Allen’s, but he won’t cost as much as a player with that kind of ceiling should cost in dynasty leagues right now.

Justin Herbert (QB-LAC) - We’ve already covered Herbert’s favorite receiver, now onto Herbert himself. Remember when he was a top 3-5 dynasty and redraft quarterback? That time is coming again, and possibly sooner than we think. He’s got the build and athleticism to be used as a runner by design, and he’s starting to riff with his receivers and offensive coordinator. Herbert could soon become an untouchable player in dynasty superflex leagues if he isn’t already. Be willing to overpay by current price standards.
Sam Darnold (QB-MIN) - The chances of Darnold getting re-signed in Minnesota go up every week. It’s possible that even quarterback-desperate teams will be unwilling to give him a big contract because of reluctance to believe that he’ll be that good outside of Kevin O’Connell’s offense. J.J. McCarthy is a long-term project even though he was a first-round pick, and he didn’t get a chance to develop, so even if it’s just a one-year deal, the Vikings should bring back Darnold, which will allow him to stay a solid QB1 in fantasy. The Vikings are actually past the tougher part of their schedule, so Darnold’s numbers could improve going forward, especially with T.J. Hockenson back.
Matthew Stafford (QB-LAR) - Puka Nacua getting tossed actually kept the Buy window open for Stafford just a little bit longer, so thank him if you’re trying to acquire Stafford in a dynasty league. Early returns are that with all three of his top receivers on the field, Stafford can be a fantasy QB1. He’s also getting back two of his starting offensive linemen soon. The Rams offense could be elite in the second half of the season, and Stafford’s numbers should reflect that.
DeAndre Hopkins (WR-KC) - In hindsight, I overthought this one. Hopkins is a consummate professional as a wide receiver and has never played with a quarterback as good as Mahomes. The Chiefs were creative with his usage (unlike Tennessee), and Hopkins responded by using all of his skill set, including contested catches on the prayer Mahomes threw between three defenders that Hopkins answered. Hopkins was so happy after the game that it almost seemed like he was going to cry tears of joy. Even after Juju Smith-Schuster is back, I think we have Mahomes new #1 receiver here. Some may try to sell high, wanting more evidence of this connection before believing it is lasting.
Sell Low
Travis Etienne Jr. (RB-JAX) - The Jaguars might be finally giving up on Etienne as a feature back. The truth is that he has never stood out as a runner or receiver enough to get that kind of trust and workload, but he was drafted to be that guy in the first round in 2021, so the team keeps trying to make him that guy. His reputation is much greater than his efficiency and value on the field, and he might not be more than a committee back going forward with another year left on his Jaguars contract.
Sell High
Cade Otton (TE-TB) - This is a classic sell high as Otton has been an elite fantasy tight end due to the lack of viable wide receiver targets for Baker Mayfield. Mike Evans could be back in Week 12 and the Bucs have a bye in Week 11, so this is the last week to cash him in while he holds the promise of being a week winner in PPR leagues. Otton has shown a dimension to his fantasy profile that wasn’t there before the Bucs lost Evans and Chris Godwin, but he’s still not a foundational player in the passing game without much ability to add value to targets or be a downfield target. This isn’t a Trey McBride situation, but someone might pay Trey McBride prices.
Alvin Kamara (RB-NO) - Did you know Kamara is turning 30 this offseason? Apparently the Saints don’t care, as he just got signed to a two-year extension. The team showed that they are committing to a full rebuild with the Marshon Lattimore trade, and it is going to be a painful rebuild. Maybe Kamara can just keep grinding out big PPR games with a ton of dump-off passes in a limited offense. He could also break down under all of the punishment he is absorbing on a team going nowhere. If you have him in dynasty and you’re not a clear championship contender, it’s time to get out for what you can.
