Welcome back to NFL Prop Talk!

This year has been incredible in the first season, with our total record to this point being 55-23. Getting this article for free is a great reason to sign up for the DFS package, as it's just a small taste of what we can offer!

Prop Talk is Footballguys' leading NFL player props weekly article. We will use a combination of Footballguys' fantastic tools, rankings, and projections --as well as my insights-- to understand whether a player will go over or under their weekly player prop number to help you win some money.

Let's dive right into some Super Bowl NFL player props.

Super Bowl NFL Player Props

We'll be using many different sportsbooks for these NFL player prop lines. Our advice is to always line-shop at as many sportsbooks as possible to find the best possible line!

Dallas Goedert Over/Under 52.5 Receiving Yards (DraftKings)

Goedert is the prime example of a guy who could be a total sleeper for Super Bowl MVP (despite the pesky fact that no tight end has ever won the award). He is coming off a very solid stretch of games, totaling 85, 56, 47, and 55 receiving yards in his past four.

He should match up extremely well against a Chiefs' defense that has allowed the most receiving yards to tight ends during the regular season, at almost 73 yards per game. Nick Bolton and Drue Tranquill have struggled in coverage against the position, and Goedert should have a lot of free space with more attention paid to wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

If we follow the assumed game script here, one where the Chiefs do everything they can to try and stop Saquon Barkley and force Jalen Hurts to step up and throw the ball more, then Goedert should be a prime target.

Pick: Goedert OVER 52.5 receiving yards (-108)

Kareem Hunt Longest Reception Over/Under 5.5 Yards (DraftKings)

This is fun! When the Chiefs picked up Hunt off of waivers after the Isiah Pacheco injury earlier this season, I'm not sure anyone thought that he would be as effective as he was in his previous Kansas City stint, but Hunt definitely overachieved relative to expectations.

That's held in the receiving game, too, as Hunt racked up 23 catches for 175 yards as well. It wasn't flashy, but he was good for an outlet now and then and even had seven catches for 65 yards in one game.

This is a good sign for this NFL player prop, as the Eagles have sometimes allowed running backs to get receiving yards against them, especially when they play their man coverage shells and don't have anyone left to cover the running back in the flat.

Hunt has hit the over on the prop in eight of his 15 games, and the Chiefs will likely try to get him into space like they did with Jerick McKinnon in the previous Super Bowl matchup versus the Eagles.

Pick: Hunt OVER 5.5 longest reception (-120)
