The number in red next to a waiver wire gem indicated the percentage of a "blind bid" budget used in some leagues to award free agent pickups. If your league does not use blind bid waivers, consider the number a way to rank the quality of waiver wire additions.

Quarterback Upgrade
QB Derek Carr, LV - Carr continues to punch his way out of a corner as his play has picked up since speculation about his 2023 status made the football media rounds. He has posted at least 248 passing yards and two scores in four straight games and only plays one game (Week 16 at Pittsburgh) in cold weather in the next five.
QB Kirk Cousins, MIN - Cousins was able to post a good result against Bill Belichick's defense on Thanksgiving night and move on effectively from the Week 11 rout at the hands of the Cowboys. He'll have a tough matchup against the Jets this week, but that and the next three games after are indoors, including matchups against the Lions and Giants.
QB Sam Darnold, CAR - (waiver wire: 1%) - Darnold got D.J. Moore going and scored when he recovered his own fumble in the win over the Broncos. He's still only an anemic option in 1QB leagues after his bye, but Darnold does still have Seattle and Detroit left on the schedule to provide 2QB/Superflex value and a desperation 1QB league option.
QB Jared Goff, DET - (waiver wire: 10-20%) - Goff posted a solid result on Thanksgiving with some help from Amon-Ra St. Brown, as usual. He only has one cold weather game left (Week 15 at the Jets) and faces the Bears at home in Week 17. First round pick Jameson Williams should also return soon to give the offense a vertical element.
QB Justin Herbert, LAC - Herbert authored a stirring touchdown and two-point conversion game-closing drive to beat the Cardinals and keep the Chargers in the playoff hunt. He could get Mike Williams back soon, and Keenan Allen's return is sticking this time. The Chargers play their last five games indoors.
QB Mac Jones, NE - (waiver wire: 10-20%) - If Jones slips up too much, he could still be replaced, but with Damien Harris ailing again, Jones is probably going to have to be most of the offense for the Patriots going forward. This week against Buffalo on Thursday isn't the best matchup for Jones, but games left against Arizona, the Raiders and Miami will be viable spot starts for him if he's not cratering.
QB Trevor Lawrence, JAX - (waiver wire: 10-20%) - Lawrence came alive in the fourth quarter and posted his signature comeback drive and game-winning two-point conversion to upset the Ravens. He'll face the Lions this week and he only has one cold weather (Week 16 at the Jets) game left.
QB Jordan Love, GB - (waiver wire: 3-5%) - Love hooked up with Christian Watson on a slant that the rookie took to the house and kept the Packers alive in relief of Aaron Rodgers. He didn't look overwhelmed like he has in the past, and if he starts this week vs. the Bears, he'll have QB2/Superflex value and maybe even qualify as a matchup play in 1QB leagues.
QB Kyler Murray, ARI - Murray posted one of his best rushing results of the season, and he got Marquise Brown back. Brown should round into form and the offense will continue to revolve around Murray, with three indoor games in the next four after the Week 13 bye.
QB Bryce Perkins, LAR - (waiver wire: 1% in very deep/2QB/Superflex) - Perkins had a rough time against the Chiefs, but he did throw his first NFL touchdown and added some value as a runner. He's only a desperation play in 2QB/Superflex, but could do better against an exhausted Seahawks defense this week if he gets the call again.
QB Trevor Siemian, CHI - (waiver wire: 1% in very deep/2QB/Superflex) - Siemian was actually productive early against the Jets with some help from his receivers, but then the clamps got put on the Bears pass offense and Siemian struggled. It's not clear if Justin Fields will play against the Packers, so Siemian remains rosterable in 2QB/Superflex.
QB Ryan Tannehill, TEN - (waiver wire: 12-25%) - Tannehill wasn't able to complete a touchdown pass against the Bengals because Derrick Henry fumbled his long catch and run into the end zone, but to be fair, Henry created that more than the quarterback. Still, it appears the offense will have to rely more on Tannehill going forward with Henry stymied as a runner the last three weeks. After this week's game at Philadelphia, Tannehill will have no cold weather game left and matchups against the Jaguars, Chargers, and Texans in Weeks 14-16.
QB Mike White, NYJ - (waiver wire: 7-15%) - Once again the Jets offense soared with Mike White, putting him in the QB2/Superflex mix, and maybe even a matchup starter in 1QB leagues. The Jets have to play cold weather games for the next three weeks after a matchup at Minnesota this week, but two of those are at home against the Lions and Jaguars.
Quarterback Downgrade
QB Aaron Rodgers, GB - (waiver wire: DROP IN 1QB, HOLD IN 2QB/SUPERFLEX) - Rodgers left the Week 12 game with a rib injury and he will have further testing to see if he'll miss time and how much. With the season lost, the Packers would be smart to see what they have in Jordan Love, or perhaps showcase him for trade offers in the offseason.
QB Russell Wilson, DEN - (waiver wire: DROP IN 1QB, HOLD IN 2QB/SUPERFLEX) - Wilson is only a desperation play in 2QB/Superflex at this point. Give some credit to the Panthers defense, but know that with Baltimore, two games against Kansas City, and the Rams still left on the schedule, it's not going to get much better.
Running Back Upgrade
RB Ameer Abdullah, LV - (waiver wire: 7-15%) - Abdullah would be in a committee with Zamir White if Josh Jacobs can't play in Week 13 because of his calf injury. He scored and racked up 55 yards on six touches in Seattle and would have flex value if Jacobs is out.
RB Tevin Coleman, SF - (waiver wire: 3-5%) - Coleman is on the practice squad, but with Elijah Mitchell down for the rest of the regular season, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Coleman called up and operating as the #2 back, which would make him a possible fantasy RB2 with RB1 upside in the event that Christian McCaffrey's knee gets worse.
RB James Conner, ARI - Conner ate up yards against the weak Chargers run defense and also scored as a receiver. He's a true bellcow for the Cardinals right now who should be treated as a borderline RB1 after getting rested during this week's bye.
RB A.J. Dillon, GB - Dillon scored for the first time since Week 1 and actually looked good in the loss to the Eagles. He'll face a wilting Bears defense this week and could be worth a flex play. He also still has Aaron Jones injury upside and should not be on the waiver wire in any league.
RB J.K. Dobbins, BAL - (waiver wire: 7-15%) - Dobbins could return as early as this week, although the team will likely be careful with him. It's not clear how big his workload would be if Gus Edwards stays healthy, but a talent like Dobbins shouldn't be on the waiver wire on the verge of being active again.
RB Gus Edwards, BAL - (waiver wire: 10-20%) - Edwards was back in Week 12 and the team immediately installed him as the lead back. It wasn't pretty, but Edwards scored and ground out tough yards with his no nonsense downhill running style. J.K. Dobbins could be back soon, but for at least this week vs. Denver, Edwards is a viable RB2 option.
RB Ezekiel Elliott, DAL - Elliott is over his knee injury and looked as explosive as he has all year. Tyron Smith should be back soon to give the offense a boost, and we know Elliott is the first option at the goal line, so he's a solid RB2 option going forward.
RB Darrynton Evans, CHI - (waiver wire: 1%) - Evans was healthy enough to play in Week 12, and he was the clear backup to David Montgomery, getting 10 touches to Montgomery's 17. Evans should be rostered in deep leagues as an injury upside backup.
RB Kenneth Gainwell, PHI - (waiver wire: 7-15%) - Gainwell scored early in the win over the Packers, showing his desperation play value, but he also could vault to flex and spot start RB2 status if Miles Sanders goes down. Sanders is only two carries away from his career high.
RB Myles Gaskin, MIA - (waiver wire: 7-15%) - Once Raheem Mostert is hurt, he tends to stay hurt. Jeff Wilson also left the game in Week 12 with what appeared to be cramps. Gaskin is not far from having the lead back role in a potent offense.
RB JaMycal Hasty, JAX - (waiver wire: 5-10%) - It sounds like Travis Etienne's foot is ok, but we should still roster Hasty as these issues can be recurring and Hasty looked good as a receiver and adequate as a runner in Etienne's stead.
RB Dontrell Hilliard, TEN - (waiver wire: 7-15%) - Hilliard remains a priority add as the backup to Derrick Henry. Henry is taking a lot of punishment and Hilliard also has desperation play value as an explosive element using occasionally in the passing game.
RB Travis Homer, SEA - (waiver wire: 1%) - Homer is posting some good gains as a receiver, including a touchdown this week. He's worth a spot in deep leagues as the back who would benefit the most if Kenneth Walker goes down.
RB Josh Jacobs, LV - Jacobs had a walk-off 86-yard touchdown run to become only the 11th player to go over 300 scrimmage yards in a game. He has responded well to the possibility of a committee after the Raiders didn't pick up his fifth year option. Jacobs and fantasy teams that took him at a discount will have the last laugh.
RB Ty Johnson, NYJ - (waiver wire: 10-20%) - Johnson was playing behind Zonovan Knight in the first half and James Robinson was a healthy scratch, so it's not clear what his workload would be if Michael Carter misses time, but Johnson was impressive on a 32-yard touchdown run and he has the most experience in this offense.
RB Ronald Jones, KC - (waiver wire: 1%) - Jones is the backup to Isiah Pacheco now that Clyde Edwards-Helaire has gone on injured reserve. If Pacheco goes down, Jones will have some value with fresh legs after being a healthy scratch most of the year.
RB Zonovan Knight, NYJ - (waiver wire: 10-20%) - The UDFA looked good and was the #2 back over Ty Johnson and James Robinson before Michael Carter got hurt. It's not clear how the work will be split up for any time that Carter is out, but Knight was first in line and we should assume that he'll get the largest share until we learn otherwise.
RB Jordan Mason, SF - (waiver wire: 3-5%) - Mason looked good on his runs late in the win over the Saints after Elijah Mitchell left with a knee injury. Christian McCaffrey also had an issue with one of his knees during the game, so Mason isn't that far from fantasy opportunity.
RB Alexander Mattison, MIN - (waiver wire: 7-15%) - Mattison remains a priority add as the clear backup to Dalvin Cook.
RB Latavius Murray, DEN - (waiver wire: 10-20%) - Murray didn't cede much work to Marlon Mack and had the biggest offensive play of the day for the limited Broncos offense, so he should remain the lead back and worth a flex play against the Ravens this week.
RB Isiah Pacheco, KC - Pacheco is the clear lead back and the Chiefs should be able to manufacture some good game scripts for him. He actually got over 20 carries and scored against the Rams and should be in your lineup as an RB2 against the Rams.
RB Samaje Perine, CIN - Perine met the Titans run defense intensity with physicality of his own and posted a score and solid RB1 fantasy game in place of Joe Mixon. We'll see if Mixon can get cleared this week, but even when Mixon returns, Perine needs to stay on rosters as a true three-down backup.
RB Brian Robinson, WAS - The Commanders backfield swung back to Robinson this week, and he also scored as a receiver. He should be a solid RB2 play against the Giants this week and then he'll get some rest during a Week 14 bye.
RB Miles Sanders, PHI - Sanders had one of his best games as a pro and helped fantasy teams that trusted him in Week 12. He has been up and down this year and faces a tough Titans run defense in Week 13, but after that, he'll be a must start because of his demonstrated weekly ceiling.
RB Benny Snell, PIT - (waiver wire: 5-10%) - Snell was excellent in relief of Najee Harris, who is on the doubtful side of questionable at best for Week 13. Jaylen Warren could return from a hamstring injury and muddle this backfield, but for now, Snell is in line to lead the backfield in touches against the Falcons.
RB Rhamondre Stevenson, NE - Damien Harris got the start and then went down with a leg injury. Stevenson is back to being the clear starting running back and an easy RB2 play, especially in PPR leagues.
RB Jaylen Warren, PIT - (waiver wire: 1%) - It's not clear if Warren will be able to play in Week 13 and how the workload would split between him and Benny Snell, but Warren looked good in limited action earlier in the season, and if Najee Harris misses extended time, Warren will have value before the end of the season.
RB Rachaad White, TB - White was better than Leonard Fournette as a runner and relied on heavily as a receiver in the upset loss at Cleveland. Fournette could be healthy enough to play against the Saints, but the Bucs would be wise to keep White in a larger role going forward.
RB Zamir White, LV - (waiver wire: 7-15%) - White had a couple of impressive runs and showed that he's still in the running back picture on a day when Josh Jacobs stole the show. Jacobs was also on the injury report before the game and the team is working him to the limit, so White could have value before the season is over, maybe even in Week 13 as Jacobs is no sure thing to play with a calf injury.
Running Back Downgrade
RB Saquon Barkley, NYG - Barkley isn't putting his stamp on Giants games or fantasy matchups as he has slowed down since logging 35 carries in Week 10. He is still a must start, but the Giants bye has passed and Barkley will face some tough NFC East defensive lines the next three weeks.
RB Michael Carter, NYJ - (waiver wire: HOLD) - Carter went down with an ankle injury. Unless we hear that he's going on injured reserve, he's a hold as the top back in a good offense on a winning team.
RB Damien Harris, NE - (waiver wire: DROP FOR 5-10% OR HIGHER) - Harris was spotted on crutches after the game, making him very unlikely to play on Thursday. It's not clear when he'll be ready and the Patriots are far from forthcoming, so he's not a clear hold depending on your bench size.
RB Najee Harris, PIT - Harris tried to play through an abdominal injury but couldn't on Monday night. He's almost certainly out for Week 13, but we can't know how long he'll be out after that.
RB Derrick Henry, TEN - Henry wasn't a bad fantasy play and he could have been fine if he hadn't fumbled inside the five after a long catch and run, but defenses aren't afraid of him, and he hasn't been effective as a runner in the last three weeks. The Eagles are up this week, so it isn't going to get any easier for Henry.
RB Alvin Kamara, NO - Kamara's initial boost in value after Andy Dalton took over has petered out and he's not even a clear start right now with the Saints offense struggling.
RB Christian McCaffrey, SF - McCaffrey sat with some "knee irritation", which casts some doubt on the size of his workload and ability to stay on the field going forward. He still has a RB1 overall ceiling in any given week and he's in a good offense, but this is an ominous development.
RB Elijah Mitchell, SF - (waiver wire: DROP) - Mitchell left the game with a knee injury as it appears his body isn't going to hold up for long stretches as an NFL running back. He may have an MCL sprain, but not as serious as the one that cost him 8 weeks earlier this year. With his trouble staying healthy, Mitchell isn't an essential hold even though Christian McCaffrey's knee is also on our injury radar right now.
RB Dameon Pierce, HOU - Pierce is ice cold as the Texans haven't been competitive in recent weeks, forcing them to abandon a running game that hasn't been an asset anyway. You can't play him against Cleveland if you have any other viable option, but you have to hold Pierce with the hopes that the Texans can get something going on offense.
Wide Receiver Upgrade
WR Nelson Agholor, NE - (waiver wire: 3-5%) - Agholor had his highest snap share and target count of the season, in part because Jakobi Meyers missed more than half of the game. Still, Agholor came through and the Patriots have a soft schedule against the pass after this week's game against Buffalo. Agholor is worth stashing at the end of deep benches to see if he can keep this up.
WR Marquise Brown, ARI - Brown was back in Week 12 and he led the team in targets even though there was talk of easing him back in. Brown should be considered a high ceiling WR3/Flex after his Week 13 bye.
WR DeAndre Carter, LAC - (waiver wire: 5-10%) - Carter has been a solid play any time Mike Williams has sat this year. Williams wasn't able to play in Week 12, so Carter posted strong WR1 PPR numbers and should be in lineups against the Raiders this week if Williams can't go.
WR Amari Cooper, CLE - Cooper had a costly drop and then atoned in overtime with a long catch to set up the game-winning score in overtime. He has been more productive with Jacoby Brissett than anyone expected and should be even better with Deshaun Watson starting this week.
WR Michael Gallup, DAL - (waiver wire: 7-15%) - With the news that Odell Beckham isn't close to being ready to play, Gallup's speculative value is going up. He also posted his best stat line of the season and he should be rounding into form after having ACL surgery in February.
WR Chris Godwin, TB - Godwin is a perfect match for what the Bucs offense is capable of right now, especially in poor conditions. He was the main man for Tom Brady and that shouldn't change now that Godwin is completely back from January ACL surgery.
WR Richie James, NYG - (waiver wire: 1%) - James is back in a big role in the Giants pass offense by default with Wan'Dale Robinson out for the year. He is a short range target, so James has some desperation play PPR value, that would have come through if you counted on him in Week 12.
WR Jauan Jennings, SF - (waiver wire: 3-5%) - Jennings has been a favorite target of Jimmy Garoppolo in recent weeks and actually posted a strong PPR stat line in Week 12. Deebo Samuel is nursing a hamstring issue - if he aggravates it, Jennings could be a viable play.
WR Zay Jones, JAX - (waiver wire: 25-50%) - Jones posted season highs in catches and yards and caught the game-winning two-point conversion to beat the Ravens. He has been a very consistent high floor play in PPR leagues and should be in lineups against the Lions this week.
WR Isaiah McKenzie, BUF - (waiver wire: 10-20%) - McKenzie had his biggest snap share and best stat line of the season on Thanksgiving. He provided a high percentage target for Josh Allen and could be a bigger part of a very good pass offense going forward.
WR D.J. Moore, CAR - Sam Darnold brought some optimism with him into the Panthers offense, and gave us reason to consider Moore in our lineups again after the team's Week 13 bye. He was able to beat Patrick Surtain II for his touchdown against Denver.
WR Elijah Moore, NYJ - (waiver wire: 7-15%) - Moore was still in a small role on offense with Corey Davis back, but he turned his two targets into 64 yards and a score. He's too good to be on the waiver wire even if he amounts to a volatile play because of his low snap share.
WR Skyy Moore, KC - (waiver wire: 12-25%) - Moore had his highest snap count of the season and tied his season high with six targets in Week 12. The team is showing more trust in him and Moore can provide some value after the catch. Patrick Mahomes spreads the ball around, but Moore could build some momentum and shouldn't be on any waiver wires.
WR Garrett Wilson, NYJ - What a difference a quarterback makes. Wilson already looks like a #1 receiver and now that he has a competent quarterback in Mike White, he's producing like a fantasy #1. He'll face off with the Vikings this week.
Wide Receiver Downgrade
WR Tyler Boyd, CIN - (waiver wire: DROP FOR 5-10% OR HIGHER) - Boyd was a dud even though the Bengals needed to go pass heavy and Ja'Marr Chase didn't return for Week 12. He's not an essential hold with Chase expected back this week.
WR Parris Campbell, IND - (waiver wire: DROP FOR 10-20% OR HIGHER) - Campbell wasn't the preferred short range option for Matt Ryan in Week 12, that was Jelani Woods, the rookie tight end. Don't drop Campbell for just anyone, but be open to letting him go if a priority add is available.
WR Darnell Mooney, CHI - (waiver wire: DROP) - Mooney is out for the year with torn ligaments in his ankle. He had a disappointing season as the Bears passing game was trying to find his way. Mooney likely needs surgery, so we'll be watching his recovery this offseason.
Tight End Upgrade
TE Jordan Akins, HOU - (waiver wire: 1%) - Akins caught all of his season-high five targets in the blowout loss to Miami and scored during garbage time, which might be a regular occurrence going forward. He has actually been a viable play about half of the time since he got back to the Texans active roster in Week 3. New quarterback Kyle Allen relied on Akins, which makes Akins a viable desperation play against the Browns this week.
TE Tyler Conklin, NYJ - (waiver wire: 1%) - Conklin made a few downfield catches in the revived Jets pass offense. Mike White getting back in at quarterback makes Conklin a viable play off of the waiver wire if you're hard up at tight end.
TE Hunter Henry, NE - (waiver wire: 3-5%) - Henry's up and down season was back up in Week 12 with a touchdown and 63 yards on only three receptions. Jonnu Smith had no targets and his snap count dropped off, so Henry is the preferred Patriots streamer at tight end against the Bills and there's a chance for value growth against the soft remaining schedule vs. the pass.
TE Hayden Hurst, CIN - Hurst posted a season-high in targets and receiving yardage and tied his season-high in catches in the hard-fought win over the Titans. He's a viable TE1 in PPR leagues with a matchup against Kansas City this week.
TE David Njoku, CLE - Njoku had a spectacular one-handed catch for a score on 4th and 10 to send the game to overtime. He's hitting his stride just in time for Deshaun Watson's return against Houston and he could be a big boost to fantasy teams that have been scuffling at tight end since he got hurt.
TE Josh Oliver, BAL - (waiver wire: 1%) - Oliver upstaged Mark Andrews in a return to Jacksonville, the team that originally took him in the third round. He got a season high in targets with Isaiah Likely out, and will be worth a desperation start in Week 13 against Denver if Likely can't go. Remember his name if Andrews misses any more this year.
TE Jelani Woods, IND - (waiver wire: 3-5%) - Woods posted a career high in catches and yards against the Steelers and he has already had a two touchdown game. This could be a one-week wonder situation, but with tight end so barren, Woods is worth an add to see if he can maintain this kind of role in the Colts passing game.
Tight End Downgrade
TE Juwan Johnson, NO - (waiver wire: DROP) - Johnson had a touchdown hit him in the hands, but he couldn't bring it in. That made him a bust for Week 12. The Saints offense doesn't appear to be one we want to be relying on for fantasy plays right now outside of Chris Olave.
TE Dawson Knox, BUF - (waiver wire: HOLD ) - Knox's usage is too inconsistent for him to be an everyweek start, but if you don't have anything better at tight end, at least he's attached to a good quarterback. He had two good games in a row coming into Week 12, so he's worth one more shot in Week 13 over the options likely available on the waiver wire.
