Staffers in a Good Mood
- Alfredo Brown: The receiver group got an upgrade, the offensive line is very good, and Goff is serviceable as a distributor.
- Ryan Weisse: Another year of stable coaching and an upgraded wide receiver corps. This offense could surprise people this season.
- Dave Kluge: Their offensive line projects to be very strong. The beefed-up receiver corps puts Jared Goff in a position to play a game manager role, which he has proven success in.
- Sam Wagman: Things are finally looking up for the Lions! The offense looks very solid on paper.
- Phil Alexander: Jared Goff needs a solid offensive line and playmakers to succeed. He has both this year.
- Christian Williams: They've made drastic improvements to the receiving room and boast one of the best offensive lines in football.
- Andy Hicks: All the offensive pieces are in place, with only a question remaining at quarterback.
- Jonathan Morris: A great offensive line with above-average quarterback play and several dynamic pass-catching options for a team that will be playing from behind.
Staffers in a Neutral Mood
- Ben Cummins: Jared Goff provides a fine floor for an up-and-coming team with exciting young offensive talent.
- Jason Wood: Until the team can upgrade from Jared Goff, there's little reason to expect playoff contention.
- Kevin Coleman: The Lions improved every part of their offense this offseason except quarterback, which will hold this team back.
- Chad Parsons: Solid veteran quarterback and improving weapons around the offense.
- Jeff Bell: A lot of moving pieces with the additions at wide receiver, but a deceptively high ceiling.
- Craig Lakins: This feels like a team on the rise, but they still need a few more pieces. Jared Goff can keep things afloat for the time being.
- Jordan McNamara: This team is well set up for a franchise quarterback. Is it Goff or a 2023 draft pick?
- Victoria Geary: The offense has fantastic potential, but the question remains if Jared Goff can get it done.
- Clayton Gray: It's too soon to feel good, but this offense is on the upswing.
