Denver, Team Mood

  • Good - 9
  • Neutral - 1
  • Bad - 0

Staffers in a Good Mood

  • Ben Cummins: Russell Wilson is a first-ballot HOFer now paired with a more fantasy-friendly coaching staff and weapons all over the offense.
  • Chad Parsons: Russell Wilson added to a quality offense around him. Wheels up for fantasy.
  • Jason Wood: Solid front office rebuild and a cornerstone quarterback who will elevate everyone around him.
  • Jeff Haseley: Russell Wilson is exactly what Denver needed. The front office made it happen, now it's on Wilson's shoulders to get it done.
  • Ryan Weisse: There is no denying the all-around upgrade that both Russell Wilson and this offense will provide to everyone involved.
  • Sam Wagman: Russell Wilson undoubtedly raises the floor of nearly every option on this offense.
  • Christian Williams: The combination of Russell Wilson and Nathaniel Hackett should make this offense formidable.
  • Jeff Bell: Russell Wilson changes the entire offensive complexion.
  • Jordan McNamara: They added Russell Wilson and should compete for a playoff spot in a tough division.

Staffers in a Neutral Mood

  • Andy Hicks: There is a great offense in the making here, but a new coach and the new quarterback is a lot of change to hit gold straight away. It may take time.

Staffers in a Bad Mood

  • None

Reasons to be In on Courtland Sutton

  • Ben Cummins: Sutton has 1,200 and 10 written all over him.
  • Chad Parsons: Now paired with a strong deep ball artist in Russell Wilson, a career year is within reach.
  • Zareh Kantzabedian: Sutton is set up to be top six in target share and air yards yet is still being drafted in the fifth round.
  • Sam Wagman: Sutton has a real shot at building on top of his quasi-breakout in 2019 and putting up very great numbers in this offense. He has been starved for decent quarterback play his entire career.
  • Christian Williams: His strengths are almost identical to Wilson's preferred No. 1 receiver from the past.
  • Jordan McNamara: Sutton is the deep threat in a Russell Wilson lead offense. It’s a great opportunity.

Reasons to be In on Javonte Williams

  • Ben Cummins: Williams is a flag plant for me.
  • Andy Hicks: Melvin Gordon's re-signing is overstated. Gordon will be 30 soon and a clear backup. Williams is the king of broken tackles and, with room for improvement, a future elite back.
  • Jeff Bell: Priced into a major timeshare. If injury or play forces him into a bellcow role, he’s a top 3 back.

Reasons to be In on Tim Patrick

  • Ben Cummins: Patrick is a value pick.
  • Jeff Haseley: He may supplant Jerry Jeudy as the team's number two wide receiver. Enjoy him as your WR4 or WR5.

Reasons to be In on Russell Wilson

  • Jason Wood: Wilson will easily deliver elite, top-six numbers, yet comes at a discount.
  • Ryan Weisse: I am good with almost everyone in this offense at cost, but instead of drafting five Broncos, I'll just draft the quarterback in the eighth or ninth round.

Reasons to be In on Melvin Gordon

  • Ben Cummins: Gordon is an awesome mid-round selection.

Reasons to be In on Jerry Jeudy

  • Ben Cummins: Jeudy is a rising star.

Reasons to be In on Albert Okwuegbunam

  • Ben Cummins: Okwuegbunam will catch many touchdowns in the red zone.

Players We're Out On at Cost

Reasons to be Out on Jerry Jeudy

  • Jason Wood: Jeudy may be the third-best receiver on the team.
  • Jeff Haseley: The Tim Patrick whispers are real. If Jeudy starts off slow, Patrick could step right in.
  • Christian Williams: Russell Wilson thrives throwing outside the numbers, and Jeudy primarily works the middle of the field.
  • Jeff Bell: Camp reports already paint him as the odd man out.
  • Jordan McNamara: Jeudy has failed to gain a sufficient target share to make a fantasy difference.

Reasons to be Out on No One

  • Ben Cummins: I’m not out on anyone.
  • Zareh Kantzabedian: All of the Broncos players' are currently priced at a discount. It's hard to be out on any of them.

Reasons to be Out on Albert Okwuegbunam

  • Ryan Weisse: He's not expensive in drafts, but the competition for targets is fierce. Plus, he may lose snaps to rookie Greg Dulcich.
  • Sam Wagman: Okwuegbunam could lose snaps to 2022 draft pick Greg Dulcich this year. Dulcich is a solid pass catcher and has me fading Okwuegbunam at his early TE2 ADP.

Reasons to be Out on Javonte Williams

  • Chad Parsons: Williams is valued like Melvin Gordon is playing on a different team in 2022.

Reasons to be Out on Russell Wilson

  • Andy Hicks: One of his fantasy strengths was in noticeable decline last year with his lowest ever rushing numbers. Wilson could push QB1 numbers, but I would be careful expecting this automatically.
