Looking to dominate your office pool this season? Eighteen Footballguys.com staff members are here to help you out. Each week they will pick the winners of every NFL game, and rank their selections based on how confident they are that the team will win. The most-confident pick gets 16 points, and the least-confident gets just 1. We'll even total up everyone's picks so you can get an overall consensus on who our staff think will be the most likely winners. Each week we'll announce the weekly winners, and track the overall record for the entire season. A couple of things to note before we get to the picks:

  • Picks for this pool are straight up (no point spread considered).
  • Picks are due on Wednesday nights, and will not reflect any late-breaking news. If your league allows for last-minute changes, please make adjustments to your office pool accordingly.
  • Our staffers also play in weekly picks Against The Spread, and Survivor Style "Pick one Winner each week" formats as well. Check out the other weekly articles for more help with those types of games.

RESULTS FROM LAST WEEK

Jason Wood put up some impressive numbers this week, giving him his second weekly win in the last three weeks. While the week had some big upsets, and Jason took a hit on the 49ers like everyone else on the board, he only missed three games for the week and finished with 113 points. Dave Larkin finished second with 110 points, but he missed 5 total games for the week, and ultimately lost due to Jason having 3 more confidence points on the Saints for Monday Night.

Most of the heavy favorites won for the week, with San Francisco being the big exception. The last-second victory by the Falcons took down everyone on the board and 248 confidence points. Tennessee, Oakland, the Rams, and the Browns also were favorites who were upset last week.

OVERALL RANKINGS

Miglio did well this week, but Davenport did better and slipped past Miglio into first place. His lead is only five points, but being in first place by any amount of points with just two weeks to go is a good thing. Pasquino slipped a bit more off the pace and fell into a tie with Larkin for third and Buzzard is just one point behind them in fifth. With just two weeks to go, these are the five teams who have a reasonable shot at the top spot.
