We do a ton of insightful, thoughtful and serious features here at Footballguys with smart people thinking deeply for you. This is not one of those features.
This is Random Shots and it's a few pages of me downloading my goofy and dysfunctional mental hard drive that gets stuffed with way too many random items from too many hours watching, reading about and listening to football every weekend and throughout the week. It's the only way I manage. Here's hoping it has some value for you.

Marcus Peters was having none of this penalty. The official was unfazed using his hat for a flag after Peters threw the real flag into the stands.
Peters went straight to the locker room on his own thinking he'd been ejected. He apparently had started undressing by the time Kansas City staff told him to come back on the field. Which he did. Without socks.
The best part may have been these joyful Jets fans. "Joyful Jets fans" are not three words I string together often.

We all know about Rob Gronkowski's cheap hit during the Buffalo Game.
Here's the post-game handshake between Bill Belichick and Sean McDermott.
A couple of things here.
1. McDermott was rightly ripped for the Nathan Peterman / Tyrod Taylor disaster. But I liked how he stood up for his player here with Belichick.
2. I don't think I'd want to be the guy who causes Bill Belichick to apologize...
The next Baltimore - Tampa Bay game should be fun...
Some people don't like players yelling at coaches. Others brush it off. I can see both sides. It usually shakes out the same way it does with most things: When it's a guy you don't like, it's awful. When it's your guy, it's no big deal. Tom Brady with the latest example Sunday.

Fun moment in Atlanta Sunday with Vikings RB Jerick McKinnon's touchdown dance.
For you youngsters, he did the Falcons "Dirty Bird" made famous by Atlanta's Jamal Anderson.
McKinnon's a Georgia native and grew up watching Anderson play.
From ESPN:
“Dream come true,” McKinnon said. “It’s just the best thing to be back home, see a lot of friends and family. A lot of people [came] up to the game and supported me. I saw my high school coach before we went out onto the field.”
"McKinnon remembers watching Anderson spark a movement with his end zone celebration. He was 6 years old the year Atlanta went to Super Bowl XXXIII and did his own version of the Dirty Bird “probably every Sunday” during his early years of backyard football."

The Pontiac Silverdome did not go down without a fight. Just as you'd expect from Detroit.
Rex Ryan gave his honest take on the Giants QB situation last week.
Not exactly a "hot take" if you've watched Geno Smith play quarterback.
Smith, however, objected calling Ryan a "coward" for the comment.
"I did see one of my ex-coaches say he didn't want me to be his quarterback. That really upset me," Smith told reporters in Oakland. "I saved his job in 2013. We fought our ass off for him both years. For him to say that shows how much of a coward he is."
If not wanting Geno Smith as your QB makes one a coward, here's a look at most NFL fans...
Going with an old favorite in the Music Notes today. Colly Strings by Manchester Orchestra is one of my all-time favorite songs from one of my all-time favorite bands. Play it as loud as you can stand it.
This performance is everything I love about music. Raw and unpolished and soulful and heartfelt. I've seen them play this live a bunch of times but that note at the 3:38 mark and the 90 seconds after slay me. Sorry / not sorry for the low-quality recording but the live connection changes everything. Here's a much higher quality version of the audio.
