Legette is a boom-bust fantasy prospect at this point. Can he develop into a reliable No.2 on the outside like Alshon Jeffery from years past? The athletic ability is there, but are the routes and reliability at the catch point?
Tet McMillan, Adam Thielen, Jalen Coker, and even Hunter Renfrow or Jimmy Horn might offer more compelling value short- and long-term.
Right now, I have Leggette struggling to catch 55 percent of 77 targets and earning more than 3 scores. Carolina is pushing him as its second outside guy, but methinks Bryce Young will spread the ball around enough that Leggette is no better than the third or fourth option in the passing game.
