Croskey-Merritt has a lot of traits that reminded me of Aaron Jones at UTEP when I watched Croskey-Merritt in college. He's not as advanced of a runner as Jones was, but he's not that far away.
Both backs possess good speed and burst, and they understand how to manipulate their bodies to get through tight creases. Both backs are also good pass catchers who can win the ball in contested scenarios.
With a good showing this summer, Croskey-Merritt could put himself in position as the RB3 on the depth chart with a shot to expand his role to RB2 or RB1 over the next 12-18 months.
Ben Cummins
He's elusive with impressive juke ability in space and also is a tackle breaker. This is a very strong package of skills for a running back. He was only drafted as late as he was due to being ruled ineligible by the NCAA over transferring schools. In a great situation with a bit of an ambiguous running back room. Could surprise as a rookie.
