The offense will lean run-heavy, and Aaron Glenn wants a committee. Allen will have standalone value, and his rare size/speed could make him a league-winner if Breece Hall gets hurt.

The Jets want to get Allen more involved in the offense and based on last year, they didn't care if it was at the expense of Breece Hall, an elite talent at the position.
Allen has strength and burst. His decision-making is better with gap running than zone plays, but he is competent with most blocking schemes. Allen, like Jaylen Wright, is a player to monitor because he could become a legitimate fantasy producer as the RB2 in the Jets offense or he could wind up a change of pace/situational option with only occasional fantasy value.

235-pound running back. Solid athleticism to go with that size. Not many backs are his size in the NFL. Should continue to play a solid role behind Breece Hall.

Love the youth and talent, don't love the situation. He is probably a starter on other teams. My hope with the NYJ is that the new coaching staff will want to utilize two backs in a way that both can be productive fantasy assets. Allen will rise considerably if it looks like he will have some kind of consistent role in the offense.
